Where Does XYplorer Store Settings?

XYplorer stores settings in XYplorer.ini plus a data folder. Installed and portable modes use different base folders.

Last updated

XYplorer keeps most options in XYplorer.ini. Tags, catalogs and scripts live beside it in the data folder.

Standard installs place data under roaming AppData. Portable installs keep data inside the program folder so the whole install can move as one unit.
