Where Are EVE Online Logs, Screenshots and Settings on Windows?
EVE Online on Windows splits data between AppData Local CCP EVE for settings and Documents EVE for captures and game logs.

Client settings live under %LOCALAPPDATA%\CCP\EVE\<sharedcache-tag>\settings_Default, with core_user and core_char .dat files plus prefs.ini. The middle folder name encodes the shared cache location and varies per install.
Screenshots, captures and chat or game logs live under Documents\EVE, while launcher logs live under AppData\Roaming\EVE Online\Logs. Steam Cloud syncs only small launcher prefs, so manual backup is needed for full UI layouts.

Example tag is c_programdata_eve_sharedcache_tq_tranquility. Replace <username> and check the actual tag on disk. Contains core_user_<id>.dat, core_char_<id>.dat and prefs.ini. Copy the settings_Default folder to back up overviews and window layouts. Custom profiles use settings_<name> instead of settings_Default.

Parent Documents\EVE also holds logs, captures and overview exports. In-game Print Screen writes here. Steam overlay captures are managed separately in Steam Recordings and Screenshots storage. Ctrl plus F9 hides UI for clean shots.

How do I move EVE settings to a new PC?
Copy the settings_Default folder from %LOCALAPPDATA%\CCP\EVE\<sharedcache-tag> on the old PC to the matching location on the new PC after logging in once. Keep character IDs matched and leave the client closed during the copy.
Why did settings reset after moving the shared cache?
The settings path includes the shared cache location tag, so moving the cache can leave the old settings folder orphaned. Back up settings_Default first, move the cache, then copy settings into the newly created tagged folder.
