Where Are StarCraft II Saves and Replays Stored?

StarCraft II Documents tree with saves, replays, maps, accounts and hotkeys on PC.

Last updated

StarCraft II splits local data by purpose under Documents: campaign saves in Saves, match recordings in Replays, ladder progress server-side on Battle.net. Accounts, hotkeys and variables each get their own folder.

Backup priorities depend on what you value. Campaign players copy Saves, competitors copy Accounts and Replays, mapmakers copy Maps.

Where StarCraft II stores this, by platform

Windows
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\StarCraft II

Contains Saves for campaigns, Replays for matches, Maps for editor files, and Accounts with hotkeys and settings per profile. Copy the folders you care about with the game closed. Ladder MMR and unlocks restore from Battle.net automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Where are my StarCraft II replays?

In the Replays folder under Documents\StarCraft II, split into Multiplayer and VersusAI subfolders. Unsaved replays vanish on client close, so save them from the score screen.

How do I transfer StarCraft II hotkeys?

Copy the Accounts folder to the new machine. Hotkey profiles and settings live per account inside it.
