Where Does PEAK Store Saves, Logs and Config?

PEAK has no built-in save system, so this covers the LocalLow folder with logs and config plus save mods.

Last updated

PEAK ships without a save system. Quitting mid-climb means starting the mountain over, because the shifting daily island makes checkpoints a design problem rather than an oversight.

What exists on disk is a Unity data folder with player logs and config. Mods add unofficial saves, which is the only way to resume a run.

Where PEAK stores this, by platform

Windows
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\LandCrab\PEAK

Holds player logs and client config, not run progress. Check here when reporting bugs or troubleshooting crashes. For actual mid-run saves, the community uses mods like SavePoint or PEAK Save Manager through a mod manager, since the vanilla game stores no checkpoint data.

Frequently asked questions

Can I save my PEAK run and continue later?

Not in the vanilla game. Campfires are not checkpoints. Mods add save functionality for solo runs, with host-only support in multiplayer.

Where are PEAK crash logs?

In the LandCrab\PEAK folder above. Attach the latest player log when asking for help on the forums or Discord.
