Where Does OrcaSlicer Store Profiles and Settings?

OrcaSlicer config folder on Windows, macOS and Linux with print profiles, filaments and settings.

Last updated

OrcaSlicer keeps user profiles, filament presets and app settings in a per-platform config folder. Copying that folder moves your tuned profiles to a new machine intact.

System presets ship with the install and get overwritten on update. Your customs live in the user data tree, which is the part worth backing up.

Where OrcaSlicer stores this, by platform

Windows
%APPDATA%\OrcaSlicer

Holds user profiles, presets and settings. Back up this folder before major version upgrades, since slicer updates occasionally migrate the profile format.

macOS
~/Library/Application Support/OrcaSlicer

Same role as the Windows folder. Use Finder Go > Go to Folder to reach it.

Linux
~/.config/OrcaSlicer

Same profiles and settings tree as the other builds.

Frequently asked questions

How do I transfer OrcaSlicer profiles to a new PC?

Copy the OrcaSlicer config folder from the old machine to the same location on the new one with matching versions. Export bundles from inside the app first if versions differ.

Where are OrcaSlicer logs when slicing fails?

Next to the config in the folders above. Attach the latest log when reporting profile or slicing bugs.
