No Man's Sky stores saves under HelloGames, then NMS, in folders named st_ plus your account ID. Saves are save.hg files (plus .mf backup copies) inside.
GOG copies use a DefaultUser folder instead of st_ folders. Steam Deck runs through Proton, so its files sit in the compatdata prefix, not the native path.
