Metaphor: ReFantazio follows the Atlus PC convention of saving under Roaming in a SEGA folder. Slots are save files named by number plus a system.sav, all inside your Steam ID folder.
The prologue demo wrote into the same folder with a save_demo.sav name, which is how demo progress carries into the full game. Back up the METAPHOR folder and everything transfers.
