Mattermost Desktop follows Electron conventions with a per OS app data folder holding config.json plus IndexedDB session stores. Server data itself stays on the server; this folder holds login state and preferences.
Exact folder name follows the product build, so confirm against the running version. Quit fully (tray included) before copying.
