Where Are Ghost of Tsushima Saves Located on PC?

Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut save and config folders on PC: saves in Documents, settings under Sucker Punch Productions in AppData.

Last updated

The PC port splits its data two ways. Saves live in Documents in a folder named for the game, inside a numeric folder matching your account. Config and graphics settings live separately under AppData.

The numeric folder is easy to misread as junk. It is the container that matters, so copy it whole rather than individual .sav files.

Where Ghost of Tsushima stores this, by platform

Windows
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT

Inside is a numeric account folder with .sav files (manual and autosave). Copy the whole numeric folder for backups. Keep Steam Cloud off while restoring hand-copied saves.

Windows
%APPDATA%\Sucker Punch Productions\Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT

Holds settings.dat and related config. Delete or rename it to reset graphics settings without touching saves.

Frequently asked questions

How do I back up Ghost of Tsushima PC saves?

Copy the numeric folder out of the Ghost of Tsushima DIRECTOR'S CUT Documents folder. That folder is your account container with manual and autosave .sav files.

Can I import a PS4 save to the PC version?

Possible with decrypted console saves renamed to the PC pattern (manual_0000.sav), with cloud sync off. It overwrites current progress, so back up first and expect some fiddling.
