Balatro keeps runs and unlocks as .jkr files in a Balatro folder under Roaming AppData. profile.jkr holds career stats, meta.jkr holds unlocks, save.jkr holds the live run.
Close the game and let Steam Cloud settle before swapping files. The numbered profile subfolders map to in game profiles one by one.
